The terms Remotera uses for eligibility, matching, job freshness, sources, and applications.

| Eligibility | Whether a posting's stated location and timezone rules accept your working location. |
| Worldwide | No country allowlist, deny-list, or timezone window restricts a remote role. |
| Hires-from list | Countries or known regions from which the employer says it can hire. |
| Deny-list | Countries explicitly excluded from an otherwise broader scope. |
| Timezone window | A range of UTC offsets in which the candidate must work. |
| C2C | Corp-to-corp engagement through a company rather than direct employment. |
| Term | Meaning |

| Match score | Personal 0–100 fit against profile signals; excludes eligibility and pay. |
| Match reason | One piece of positive, negative, near-miss, or neutral evidence behind the score. |
| Focus skill | A required skill identified as central to the role. |
| Any-of group | Interchangeable alternatives where one member is sufficient. |
| Matched skill | A job skill also found in your profile or current skill filter. |

| Fresh | Inside the feed's recent-job window and shown above the Older jobs divider. |
| Archived | Removed from its source or old enough to leave the active catalogue. |
| Canonical job | The surviving record after duplicate cross-posts are merged. |
| Source | A career page, ATS board, Telegram channel, Reddit post, or other place where the job appeared. |
| Public id | The stable opaque id used in a public job URL and API response. |
| Facet page | A readable path representing a common filtered browse page, such as /remote/backend/python/senior. |

| Master profile | Your reusable facts, preferences, résumé, and application defaults. |
| Application profile | A targeted overlay and ATS-safe CV for a defined set of jobs. |
| Profile gap | An application question the current profile cannot answer safely. |
| Saved answer | A reusable answer supplied directly before an AI-generated answer is considered. |
| Parked | An assisted application stopped for human review. |
| Submitted, unconfirmed | A submit action ran but the result page did not provide reliable confirmation. |

| Alert | A saved filter set evaluated against new jobs. |
| Destination | The Telegram DM, group, channel, or webhook that receives an alert. |
| Personal destination | A private destination allowed to include account-specific information such as match score. |
| Shared destination | A destination whose messages remove personal account data. |
| MCP | Model Context Protocol, used to expose job tools to compatible AI clients. |
